Outcome 1: Writing Processes & Adaptation
Students will be able to describe and reflect on writing processes in order to flexibly adapt them to support their goals.
Reflection
This Student outcome is saying that students can analyze their work and adjust their strategy to fully achieve their goal in what they want to write. I believe I met this outcome based on the first assignment of the class as shown. The assignment asked for a paragraph defining the term rhetoric. I defined this term using MLA format and used proper sources to support my claim. I used many writing processes on this first assignment such as brainstorming ideas on how to approach the assignment, researching the proper sources, creating a draft before my final product, and revising my errors based on what I saw. I believe I did well on this assignment for it being my first one of the class, and I earned a 20/20 grade. However, as I look back, I should’ve added the page number after the author’s name, but the professor said not to worry about proper MLA formatting just yet.
