Reflection

This outcome is saying that students should have the ability to choose the correct writing choice or constraint when writing for a specific audience. I believe I met this outcome based on my UP3 assignment as shown. The assignment asked for students to find an appropriate genre to write in to successfully reach the target audience they are looking for. In the assignment, I was writing about how high schools should institute a universal citation format. The audience I was looking for was a large audience because I am trying to persuade high schools around the country. So I chose to write an Op-ed, or opinion piece, to reach that audience. This allowed me to accurately reach a large audience while trying to persuade high schools in many places in which I was looking to do.
