Reflection

This outcome states that students should be able to understand the feedback they received on assignments and revise accordingly. I believe I met this outcome because, throughout the course, I had to revise two major assignments. For the first major assignment, I wrote an essay about the power of language in the dialogue Gorgias. I visited office hours to discuss mistakes I made in the original draft, and my main mistake was that I was supposed to write about MY opinion of the power of language based on the reading, not about a summary of the power of language as a whole in the reading. So in my second revision, I took my Professor’s advice and fixed my paper based on the information she gave me and fixed my errors. I fully understood my mistakes once she pointed it out, and my Professor helped guide me to fix them and properly follow what the assignment asked.
